Is there any problem with feeding my dog fish oil dietary supplements that are marketed for human use?

I’ve been giving my dogs a salmon oil capsule daily (on a vet’s recommendation) for many years and they do wonders for both their skin and coat, particularly in the dry winter weather.

probably a bad idea. Fish oil is a blood thinner. Always ask a vet before giving an animal human pill form anything. Or human medicine anything.

omega-3 basically which can come in other food forms
good for coat health

Anything that’s good can also be bad based on dosage and frequency.

Always ask a vet for direction.
